The purpose of the present study was to determine the mechanical properties of construction steel, API 5L X52 series. The failure pressure (Fp) of the welded joint interlayer APT5L X52 was measured. The Fp of pipes made of API 5L X52 steel, APT5L X52 was equal to 1.73 MPa.T/m. The corrosion residue of tubes made of API 5 L X52 steel, AP5L X52 was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
To examine the static and fatigue mechanical properties, tubes of normality API 5L X52 steel, API 5L X52 steel, the X52 steel pipes construction were made in the present work. The essential character of the X52 steel in this study were the chemical composition and precipitates that have high strength and low yield strength. It was generally accepted that the change of the chemical composition after welding is not problematic. Dislocation of the weld generated grain size appeared on the fracture surface, which may be considered as crack. The working temperature was determined by specifying the initial time of melting at a certain temperature 5.5 k. On the basis of the working conditions, the welding temperature, the steel type was designed. The material composition of the analyzed API 5 L X52 steel, the chemical composition for welded joint and structural steel, the mechanical properties in terms of tensile, fatigue and crack properties were determined. Considering the strength and elongation of API 5 L X52 steel, the X52 steel pipes of this study was subject to loading. The diameters of the X52 steel pipes were also calculated. For fortified API 5 L X52 steel, the tensile tests was carried out to determine the basic mechanical properties with respect to the age of the material. The tensile curves were traced using the tensile load and the tensile displacement.
