Thundercats Complete Collection 1985 1987

A few of the last Thundercats toys were made for European markets and only had the generic 1987 date. The last edition of Thundercats figures was produced in 1989 and it was the first time the Thundercats characters were produced as comic book style characters. These figures were produced to fill a gap in the market for Thundercats fans that had not received a Thundercats figure in years.

In 2006 Thundercats was given a new lease on life with the release of a 3rd series of Thundercats figures. The 3rd series of Thundercats figures has more authentic looking figures with more accurate clothing and accessories. The figures are still made of PVC, but the quality is much better and they are much more durable. The figures can be bought on ebay for up to $35.00.

A new line of Thundercats themed action figures was released in 2009 based on the new live action series. The figures have a few very cool features including the vehicles, such as the T-Viper or Lion-O's Battlecat. The figures also come with accessories that fit on the vehicles or can be used to play with some of the accessory figures. The figures also have some cool voice boxes on them that activate some of the accessories.

I have also seen one show up on U.K. auction site eBay. I think it is the 2nd series of figures from 1987 that are up for auction. The figures are all complete and in very good condition. They are all repainted, but I have no idea if they are exact matches to the originals. The auction has already started and continues until May 2nd.

I have most of the action figures, Rataro, Wilykat, Wilykit and Ma-Mutt. I am in need of Tygra, Cheetara, Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Snarf, Driller and Stinger. I am also in need of the Thundercats Lair Playset. To me they are the main stars of the show and I feel like I need to complete the set before getting into other Thundercats characters.

It's not as easy as it was back in the day, with ebay being the main source of Thundercats action figures and playsets. They have been selling for as high as $50 in the last few years. There is a group on Facebook that is dedicated to tracking down Thundercats merchandise and sharing their finds with others.
